10 DIY Projects You Should Try
Pinterest is a great place to find outfits, recipes, and DIYs. If you’re anything like me, you have at least one board full of DIYs you want to try, and there just so cute or functional. However, I rarely get around to ever trying all of them out. Here’s 10 DIY projects from Pinterest I want to try, and I think you should try them, too! Quick disclaimer, I haven’t tried these out, so I can’t guarantee they will succeed!
DIY #1: Toilet Cleaning Fizzies
These toilet cleaning fizzies looks so cute, and I really want to give them a try! If this is an easy way to clean the toilet, I’m all for it. They don’t include ingredients everyone has around the house, but they aren’t hard to get. I might just have to try this out soon!
DIY #2: Pink Lemonade Sugar Scrub
I love making sugar scrubs! They smooth out skin without being too abrasive, and my sensitive skin isn’t irritated by them. I especially love using sugar scrubs on my lips, and a pink lemonade scrub sounds delicious and useful!
DIY #3: Blanket Ladder
This blanket ladder is a little more of an advanced project. But if you’re willing to try it out, you could customize it to match any decor! I love a fluffy blanket when it’s cold out, and this is a stylish and functional piece to store them on!
DIY #5: Lemon Vanilla Bath Bombs
I think everyone loves a nice, relaxing bath. And many people, myself included, like to use bath bombs for a nice smell and an entertaining fizz. Why not make your own so you can customize? Lemon vanilla sounds like a delicious scent to me, but you could change it up if you wanted!
DIY #5: Watermelon Soap
Soap is a pretty simple project, but soap in pretty colors and cool designs can be expensive. Why not make your own cute, decorative soap with this tutorial. These little watermelon slices are perfect for the summer time (or anytime!)
DIY #6: Wood Planter
I used to make an herb garden in our yard every summer, but this hanging planter would make it easy to keep it all year round! I’ve seen similar projects and always wanted to try one, and this looks like something that could be easy enough!
DIY #7: Giant Rug
I saw this crocheted rug and I wanted to make it immediately! It looks so comfortable and is stylish too. You could use any color to match your decor, and make them in all different sizes! This is another one I really want to try!
DIY #8: Hammock
A hammock is a nice place to hang out, read, or just enjoy being outside. Here’s a way to make your own hammock to enjoy. Find (or make) a hammock stand, and you could have this set up anywhere!
DIY #9: Bracelets
There is plenty of tutorials to teach you how to make cute bracelets, and this is one of them, but a stack of these would look so cute! These are one simple style, but I would mix and match. These could even be cute gifts!
DIY #10: Vanilla Almond Body Lotion
I use lotion all the time. This simple, natural, four ingredient lotion caught my eye because you can make it yourself, and it should smell great! Plus coconut oil is even more moisturizing than many store bought lotions, so this lotion will be extra moisturizing, too.
