Fourth Of July Nails
This summer, I have been enjoying trying out new nail art and painting my nails to match my outfits and occasions. I guess that just comes with all this time to spare! This week, since the Fourth of July is on Wednesday, I decided to theme my nails red, white, and blue! Here are my Fourth of July nails!
How To Paint Fourth Of July Nails
For these Fourth Of July nails, I used three polish colors on the nails and one for the nail art. The red color is “Bloody Lips” by Kiss. The blue is “92” from L.A. Colors, and the silver is “409” by L.A. Colors. My nail art was also done in a white by L.A Colors. Finally, I used the Kiss Gel Finish Top Coat.
On my left hand, I painted the red on the thumb, pointer, and pinky finger. On the left, I used red on my thumb, ring finger, and the pinky finger. My middle finger on both hands were blue. On the left, my ring finger was painted silver, and on the right my pointer finger was silver.
Once two coats are applied and all of the colors are opaque, I put a top coat on all the nails except the middle one. For the star, I wanted it positioned towards the upper and outer edge of my nail. I dropped some white polish on a piece on paper, and used a toothpick to shape the star and fill in the lines. I finished off with a coat of top coat of top coat over the star.
